Enterprise Account Executive - Remote Opportunity

Open to Location: This position can reside anywhere in the US due to working remotely.   

The Enterprise Account Executive primary responsibility is to work with inside sales to qualify software prospects, rapidly design and execute on a business development plan for these prospects and foster positive client relationships, which lead to closed sales.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • 100%-time allocation to sales and lead generation within assigned region and/or vertical focus
  • Strict adherence to Columbus Solution Selling process
  • Manage sales cycle and maintain positive relationships with customers throughout the entire sales process
  • Assist in development of new sales team members
  • Generate customer leads through networking, cold calling and other business relationships and provide timely follow up to any assigned leads
  • Participate in company marketing events and sales meetings
  • Provide proper reporting and forecasting to management
  • Qualify and forecast deals accurately and consistently meet or exceed quota
  • Assist in customer and vendor issue resolution as needed
  • Maintain internal CRM database

Credentials & Experience

  • College degree in a related discipline required
  • Professional certification and accreditation a plus
  • Microsoft Dynamics certification(s) in related discipline a plus
  • Three or more years of experience with Enterprise ERP Sales

Knowledge & Skill Requirements

  • Knowledge of best practices, principles and procedures as related to mid-to-large scale business processes within a given vertical
  • Demonstrable knowledge of applying sales techniques, especially Sure Step+ methodologies within Enterprise ERP Sales
  • Ability to understand, communicate, and interpret client business processes and requirements
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative atmosphere
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple demands
  • Proven ability to write effective system and process documentation - including business and system requirements, process diagrams, and data flow charts
  • Microsoft Dynamics NAV/GP/AX or comparable sales experience a plus
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Effective time management skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication in addition to presentation skills - mandatory
  • Basic knowledge of ERP systems as they relate to effective and efficient business processes
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization
  • Ability to establish priorities, work independently and proceed with objectives with little supervision
  • Resolve conflict
